Aubrianna Albany is a writer who graduated with a BA in Language & Literature from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2021. Aubrianna is an experienced and enthusiastic copyeditor who worked enthusiastically for Michigan’s Prison Creative Arts Project Literary Journal on publications like Greatest Hits: Michigan Review of Prisoner Creative Writing, Volume 10 (2017). She also worked as Senior Editor for The Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts Literary Journal during their publication of if you need time to think… (2019).
During her freshman year of college, Aubrianna wrote and self-published her first short story, Two in the Thistle (2017). Her poem Ellipses has also been published in the Lloyd Hall Scholars Program’s 2017-2018 Literary Journal, Hold On.
Aubrianna is currently curled up in Romeo, Michigan, with her elementary-school-sweetheart-slash-husband and their twin cats, Reginald and J.J. In her sparse free time, she enjoys binge-reading and binge-writing fiction, memoir, poetry, and (most recently) litRPGs. She is enthralled by human affect and the blunt taste of dark chocolate.
